Happy 50th Birthday Alaska

What a great plan we are here for Alaska's 50th birthday party.

Here is Sarah and Aunt Le May helping out at the National Firefighters Competition. They had a great time while mommy and grandma shopped with Josh. Bruce and Uncle Doug were out fishing, again.

They also reenacted the pinning on of the star and the bonfire - it was amazing. I also got to meet Barbara LaVelle - one of my most favorite Alaskan artist. She is as sweet in person as her pictures are.

After spending all day in town - we were tired puppies - but what an awesome celebration. They closed down several downtown streets, for live music, dancing and exhibits going on. We had a blast.

Thanks Alaska for a great celebration. Some of you would like to know that my family was here for the original celebration when Alaska became a state - pretty cool to celebrate the 50th with them.

Happy Birthday Alaska
